Luis Lecea Romera is an artist, architect and musician. His practice manipulates material and aural spaces through site-relational installations, compositions, and performances. By employing archaeoacoustics as an experiential catalyst, he creates time-based environments that emerge dissonances within processes of production, reproduction, and decomposition, often embedded in architecture and landscape.

He is a tutor in the MFA programme Artificial Times at the Sandberg Instituut. Additionally, he facilitates aux), an Amsterdam based collective aimed at fostering conversations, collaborations, and events around experimental practices that critically engage with listening, music, and sonic arts.
