Alto, Relieve (High, Relief) is an audio-visual essay recorded and filmed in the aftermath of the 2021 Cumbre Vieja eruption in the cemetery of Las Manchas. As the volcano calms down, tremors produced by seismic activity are occasionally difficult to differentiate from those of anthropic origin. The work approaches residual vibrations in human and mineral debris as interferences between the factual and the conjectural.
