An Orderly Noise #2
2022spatial sound installation

Collaboration with Claire Matthews
An Orderly Noise #2 is a 5-channel site-specific installation developed as a sonic collision of two architectures in decay. The Borssele nuclear power plant resonates within basement of the old telephone central of Amsterdam, blending and expanding an archaeoacoustic condition, and blurring notions of transmission, emssion, and reception. The piece integrates pre-existing sound and specific resonances of the space which it intervenes.
Installed along the 50 metre corridor at the basement Laurel Project Space, Amsterdam, NL
